Reporting to the Professional Practice Director, the PPC is responsible for approximately 250 pharmacy practices, primarily in Edmonton & Northern Alberta. In addition to assessing pharmacy operations and systems, the PPC develops and implements educational programs and tools to promote quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives.
By providing guidance and coaching to pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and licensees, the PPC helps pharmacy teams adapt to changes, meet practice standards, and provide patient-centred care. Our PPCs are trusted partners both within the College and in the community, consistently receiving high ratings in post-assessment surveys.
